Sierra Madre Girls Softball Association is a non-profit organization run by group of dedicated volunteers.  Each year we offer a chance for girls ages 5 - 16 to learn softball skills and good sportsmanship in a safe and positive environment.  Nearly 500 girls from Sierra Madre and throughout the San Gabriel Valley come together each fall and spring to play fast pitch softball and have fun with friends.

As a volunteer organization, we need support from families and businesses in the area to:

  • Keep registration fees at reasonable levels
  • Offer training workshops to our coaches
  • Invest in field improvements
  • Purchase specialized equipment like protective fielder’s masks and catcher’s gear
  • Fund scholarships for players needing financial assistance

You may sponsor the entire league and/or a specific team. Each team is expected to raise at least $500 in sponsorships. With sponsorship amounts ranging from $250 to $2500, we offer several ways to promote your business to our players and families:

  • Outfield, Infield or T-Ball sign at Heasley field
  • Link with your logo on the SMGSA website
  • Recognition for your business in our Yearbook

We also accept donations of gift cards, equipment or gear that could be given away as prizes during our Opening Day and Closing Day ceremonies.  Donations of packaged goods like bottled water  or Gatorade that can be sold through the snack bar are also accepted.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated and make a valuable impact on the league.

SMGSA has been operating since 1972 primarily to strong support from the community and sponsors.  For those sponsors who have been with us year after year—THANK YOU!  And for those sponsors new to the league, we’re excited that you are considering to join us and be part of the the best girls fast pitch league in the San Gabriel Valley.  We appreciate your generosity and support.

Availability is limited on some packages. Packages are granted on a first come, first serve basis. SMGSA shares field use with Sierra Madre Little League and all displayed signs are visible to those families as well. Signs are displayed by week 3 of the season. Due dates are:

  • Forms turned into no later than March 5th, 2018
  • Artwork for signs emailed to no later than March 9th, 2018
